I created my first website in 1998. This is already 7th release of what has started more than 10 years ago.
Why am I doing this? I always felt like having my own place within the universe of The Web, yet another facebook profile was just not enough. Developing such site allows me also to refresh my web-programming skills and hone them a bit.
Who am I?
My name is Igor; I was born in 1982 in Wrocław, Poland, where I grew up, attended schools and – finally – graduated from the local University. In 2007 I moved to Cracow where, with a small break for thirteen wonderful months spent in the Netherlands, I live and work until today.
Everyday
I work as a Project Manager for a large Polish media conglomerate. I recently changed job - used to be engaged in large BSS systems implementation projects for various telecommunications companies all over the world. And now... looking forward to exploring new opportunities!
In the afternoon
I read books, learn Dutch and do cooking. For the first 22 years of my life I was an anti-sport type. Now I try to make this up. Bodybuilding, squash, biking – for me those are not just labels that look nice in the CV ‘hobbies’ section. I have no Internet at home. Life is just too short to waste it chatting and checking youtube.
During weekends
No boring and routine activities. After couple of months in the Netherlands my colleagues told me that I’ve seen there more than 90% of the Dutch. Now I want to do the same wherever I end up.
